Divorce is stressful enough without a confusing, Arabic-language court system on top of it. Divorce UAE exists to make the process clear. Our mission is to give residents and expats in the UAE accurate, readable information about their divorce options, and a simple way to reach a qualified lawyer when they need one.

This site is written for anyone dealing with, or thinking about, divorce in the UAE: expats on spouse visas, mixed-nationality couples, long-term residents, and people trying to understand their rights before they commit to a lawyer. Whether your case falls under the Muslim personal status law or the civil law for non-Muslims, our guides start from the basics and build up to the detail.    We pass your enquiry to an independent family lawyer licensed to practise in the UAE who handles cases like yours. The lawyer is not employed by Divorce UAE.

3. You have a free initial consultation

   The lawyer contacts you for a free, confidential first consultation to discuss your options. This is where you get advice tailored to your circumstances.

4. You decide, with no obligation

   After the consultation you are free to proceed, take time to think, or walk away. If you do choose to hire the lawyer, fees are agreed directly between you and them.
